I love to photograph outdoor subjects--old barns, decrepit buildings, trees, flowers or anything else I might find along a roadside or on a hike. I sometimes include people, but not often.
That's me, David, on the left. No, I don't have some kind of weird skin condition--I was fooling around with Photoshop and decided I could be a little more extreme with myself than I would ever be with others.
I started shooting pictures with a Minolta SRT back in 1976. After spending many years away from the hobby, I became interested in it again a few years ago. I still have that old SRT and a few more like it. A year or so ago, I added a 1954 Rollieflex to my equipment. I also use some much older cameras, as well as a 4X5 and many homemade pinhole cameras. I've recently started shooting digital, but haven't completely given up the film habit.
Most of the photos here will have digital origins, but there will also be film-based photos now and then. In general, I won't bother to point out the equipment used for individual photos, but I'll gladly supply that info if you want it.

Photos purchased from this site should be considered decorative reprints. The purchaser controls the cropping and I do not have the opportunity to personally inspect the final prints. Prints purchased from here are not signed or part of any 'Edition'.
For photographs sized 8X10 to 24X36, the same photos that are available here are also available as "loose" or as matted prints that are signed by me and are marked with the 'Edition' and 'Printing' run (1st, 2nd, etc.) If matted, acid-free matting board will be used. I will make final crops (though you may make special requests) and will inspect prints before shipping.
An 'Edition' refers to substantial, qualitative changes made to the photo. Contact me at dpjnet@comcast.net for more information about which sizes are available as Editioned prints, as well as cost and ordering info.
